Job Description
Respond promptly during outages and recommend solutions for performance issues.
Maintain network security firewalls and define network access rights.

Maintain network security firewalls, Analyzes and recommend security controls and procedures in business processes related to the use of information systems and assets.
Monitors information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develop monitoring and visibility capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities
Oversees the performance of day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability within minimal interruption.
Oversees the configuration of firewall security settings to access permissions groups for individuals and sets up provisions for incoming data.
Oversees and participates in network technology upgrades or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software, and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing the function of other systems.
Develops and produces documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communications hardware or software.
Responds to and addresses security incidents and IT security policy violations pertaining to the enterprise infrastructure level immediately.
Responsible for Circuit / Bandwidth changes / Working with Providers.
Provide technical guidance and training Network Support Engineers Level
Experience of WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF,), LAN/WLAN (DNS, IP Addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ISR/ASR routers
Intermediate problem resolution knowledge of hardware/software platform problems in complex, layered, network infrastructure
Job Specification:
Knowledge of NG-Firewalls (Multi-vendor, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate), Security products/practices - ACLs, Firewalls, VPN, etc.
Proactive monitoring (SolarWinds, PRTG) of 1000+ devices network and knowledge of NMS/Syslog monitoring, alerting and escalations.
5 - 7 years of experience in a relevant field
Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
CCIE, CCNP , CCDP or equivalent (certified) is preferred
