Position: HR Generalist
Department: People & Organization.
Reporting : HRBP
Assigned to a portfolio of business units as determined by the HRBP.
Support HRBP to execute HR strategic and operational plans for the assigned respective business units.
Advise employees on HR Policies and Processes.
Manage off-boarding processes for employees
Ensure adoption and compliance to HR Policies and advise line managers on matters related to people management.
Advise the Business on HR and people issues, employee-related matters including employment law, performance management, employee development and interpretation of company HR policies.
Handle employee exit interviews.
Manage disciplinary/grievances issues and take appropriate actions
Provide administrative support to HRBP w.r.t to the business units
Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resource generalist role
Bachelors/Masters in Business Administration
Independent and reliable.
Deep understanding of Labour Law and employment equity regulations
Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly
Positive attitude and professional work-ethic; self-motivated and who can function independently most of the time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and conflict management skills.
