About Farmdar
Farmdar is an agritech startup that uses remote sensing and artificial intelligence to create data that helps increase yields and reduce waste. We are looking for an Account Manager to nurture relationships and scale revenue by identifying business opportunities within the B2B segment.
Our data helps agri-related corporates such as food companies, food processors, corporate farms and sugar mills accurately identify location, crop type, acreage, harvest monitoring, yield and quality of crops amongst other business critical data points.
This opportunity is available to candidates in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi
The role
Farmdar creates a range of accurate data points for agriculture that are of immense value to lenders, in order to asses risk, crop health and farming history, lending amount or nature of lending products, in addition to direct access to Farmdar’s farmer database. The role would entail engaging with relevant senior management at banks and fintechs interested in servicing the agricultural sector, pitching and creating a demand for Farmdar’s products, leading to conversion
Responsibilities
Plan for developing business and achieving the company’s revenue goals within the banking and fintech segments
Prepare forecast and KPIs
Land and expand: Build process and funnel for reach-out, onboarding, activation, and expansion
Evangelize the product and personally help close largest deals
Identify new revenue opportunities within the within the banking and fintech segments
Work collaboratively across teams: Tech, Product and Marketing
Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectives
Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
Requirements
Startup mentality: The candidate must be energetic, agile and ready for speed.
Minimum 10 years of business development experience within banking and fintech
Fintech experience is MANDATORY
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must bring credibility and have an impeccable repute amongst bank and fintech contacts/relationships
Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
Strength in problem solving, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail
